Have Fun Doing Nothing

This is about exploration. So often in our narratives, exploration is a great undertaking, a task that ends in reward.

I’ve always found exploration to be a mood in and of itself, where sometimes having no intention or direction is the point. As our society increasingly tells us that our experiences in life should hold some sort of equatable value, I think it’s important to take action that maintains our humanity, our sense of wonder.

Have Fun Doing Nothing is a personal work about moving to Los Angeles and feeling a lot of new space in my life I didn’t necessarily want. Primarily a visual exploration, the last ten pages features the first short fiction I’ve written in some time.
