A solo act with occasional collaboration by musician friends, this project has taken a variety of creative paths. Sometimes with it I make the music I want to listen to while others I push myself in a certain conceptual direction of composition. Predominantly still rooted in harmony and traditional structures, it’s an evolving relationship with something between music and sound art.

A collaborative effort with the synth work of Josh of consono, we work under two basic structural concepts—a mostly improvised, extended live setting that centers mostly around drone patterns and noise, and a more parsed, piece-by-piece studio recorded version. Each has its own sonic temperament and we try to continue to push into new experimental areas of how to combine different guitar and keyboard sounds.
