Every person has a method of activism. Some people hold bake sales, some people go to city council meetings, I design propaganda against injustice.
I've never had an easy time reconciling my love for graphic design and its primarily utility as an agent of capitalism. Though all communication design is promoting some agenda, the perceived hypocrisy of "propaganda against propaganda" is obvious in a campaign like this.
I see it more as a force of balance; that for all the billions of dollars poured into marketing campaigns telling people what dish detergent to buy, who to vote for and which team to root for, creating a voice for the opposition free of any capital influence is natural.
